Quinces in Tony Dunn's garden 19 September, a wonderful sight along with the chicken tractor, plums and blue damsons galore, apples like you've never seen... it's been a good year for fruit trees in Sussex, whereas we've not had lots of squash & pumpkins. Is it too much rain at the pollinating time for the ground fruits, or maybe the bees have been helping out his orchard ? Music - there was lots of that too, mainly squeezybox things, as well as Harvey's beer. A lovely afternoon. Here are Charlotte, Eamonn and Michael all having a go... I played a bit in the background and now must learn "Metal Man", especially for the runs in the chorus...
